MUSÉE D'AQUITAINE DE BORDEAUX

Akan, installed mostly in Ghana and Ivory Coast, had gold dust for their trade and had developed a particularly original system of weight.

Through the presentation of 700 weight and numerous documents, the exhibition of the Museum of Aquitaine Bordeaux reveals the originality and richness of this civilization of gold and its relations with Europe for four centuries.
