Like with all the artists we work with, it occurred to us to ask perfumers (also known as “noses”) to come interpret our city, which we consider to be as alive and protean as a human being.
Three renowned “noses” encountered the city by our sides, discovering Nantes’s liveliest neighbourhoods, then translating their experience into a fragrance.
These three variations on the city will be presented from 12 June to 12 September 2021 at the Château des ducs de Bretagne, where anyone can vote for the scent that best matches their idea of the city. In late 2021, this perfume will be available for purchase in a bottle designed by Nantes-based art collective Atelier Polyhedre.
