25 MAY - 20 OCTOBER 2013
MARSEILLE-PROVENCE 2013 : LE PONT

MUSEE D'ART CONTEMPORAIN (MAC), MARSEILLE

The [mac] museum of contemporary art, Marseilles, presents from May 25th to October 20th, 2013 the exhibition LE PONT, European Capital of Culture’s event co-produced by Marseille- Provence 2013 and the City of Marseilles.

LE PONT evokes the sense of adventure and the link in today’s postcolonial world, and Marseilles represents this new world in which artists, as men, claim their place no matter where they are.

Most invited artists to the exhibition LE PONT experienced migration or they were interested in it. There are one hundred and forty-five artists coming from all over the world to show their works in the galleries and the cinema of [mac], as well as in the twenty-seven others sites in the city.
