3E SCENE - OPÉRA NATIONAL DE PARIS

FONDS HELENE ET EDOUARD LECLERC

3è scène

An unprecedented rendez-vous in Landerneau; the first-ever presentation of 3è scène’s digital project. An original discovery in the world of fine arts and the theatre. In September of 2015, the National Opera of Paris inaugurated 3è scène. On the sides of the Bastille Opera House and of the Garnier Palace, Third Stage is a digital space of creation. The artists who are invited to participate in the program will make use of the Opera House as they see fit, and establish a connection with the historic building that is honest, solid, subliminal, dreamlike.

The Fonds Hélène et Edouard Leclerc invites 3è scène to Landerneau in collaboration with Quartz—The National Theatre of Brest. For the first time, a selection of 12 works from 3è scène is presented in a physical environment that curator Dimitri Chamblas and associate curator Amélie Couillaud have conceived at once as a performance space, an exhibition site, a working studio and a theatre.
