DANSER BRUT

LaM, Villeneuve d'Ascq

The exhibition Danser Brut is an invitation to explore the links between dance and the involuntary or repetitive gesture through marginal artistic movements.

From the first studies about hysteria in the 1870’s to the artistic radicalness of the 1970’s, from the drawings of the Russian dancer Vaslav Nijinski to modern dance, the exhibition will shine the light on the interdisciplinarity between the artistic practices.
