The success of the cultural season "Paysage" Bordeaux 2017 both in terms of attendance, structuring and outreach, prompted the City of Bordeaux to imagine a new highlight in 2019.  From June 20 to August 20, 2019, Bordeaux will hoist the colors of "Freedom!" . Part of a dynamic that, from the enlightenment philosophy, invests all the fields of emancipation of human beings, including surfing, less a sport of the extreme, practiced on the Atlantic coast since the 1950s , that a way of life, now based on the surpassing of oneself. 

Beyond the centuries and postures that seem a priori separate them, the horizon brings together these two disciplines in one wave, both unpredictable and expected.
