From the 15th to the 17th century, the hunt for witches or “daughters of the devil” swept through southwestern France and, more broadly, the entire kingdom.
Through the exhibition “Tremble! Tremble! Witches are among us,” the Musée d'Aquitaine highlights the ancient and biblical roots of witches, up to their transformations and current resonance in European history.
