On the occasion of Lille3000’s new season dedicated to the theme “Fantastic”, the Lille Métropole Musée d’Art Moderne d’Art Contemporain et d’Art Brut (LaM), will present a new exhibition on the urban myths of the Interwar period. “The Magic City” will present four myths, reflecting the fantasies and fears produced by the western world and many modern artists such as Victor Brauner, Giorgio de Chirico, Joseph Stella, photographers such as Raoul Hausmann, André Kertész and cinematographers such as René Clair, Fritz Lang and John Huston.
