MARSEILLE-PROVENCE 2013 : E-TOPIE

AIX-EN-PROVENCE - VARIOUS PLACES

E-topie is a plural project dedicated to promoting a dynamic cross-culture in different areas of innovation. Through the creation of contemporary events, combining artists, cultural operators and enterprises (clusters from L’Europôle de L’Arbois and Rousset among others) e-topie is the nerve centre of the Jas-de-Bouffan around the site of the Fondation Vasarely. The relationship between art, research and society are at the heart of the project, creating links between artists and researchers in workshops and laboratories. The artists presented are the most advanced in areas of contemporary art related to new technologies. 

The program opened with an unusual yet spectacular project mapping the Ryoji Ikeda on the front of the Fondation Vasarely. Also presented is the choreographed projections from Group Laps, Key Frames on the Pavillon Noir; exhibitions in the various partner locations (Fondation Vasarely, Seconde Nature, Maison numérique and École Supérieure d’Art), performances (concerts, shows, conferences) as well as workshops and a master classes to finish by one of the episodes of "Révélations" du Group F, combining mapping and pyrotechnics.
