Invited to the LaM museum, Laure Prouvost will be sharing her perspective on the museum of her childhood. The artist is from the north of France, but studied art in London and opened a studio in Antwerp, Belgium. She is therefore an international artist.
From this series of experiences, she developed a strong taste for the poetry of languages, mixes and blends. A desire to share and develop narratives led her to use LaM’s collection of outsider art to enter into a dialogue with it, while revisiting the installation Deep See Blue Surrounding You / Vois ce bleu profond te fondre, created for the French pavilion for the last Venice Biennale.
